The spring/quarantine bucket list is here! This bucket list looks a little different than past seasons because we’re in quarantine right now. I had a fun list of things to experience like the butterflies at Meijer Gardens and Tulip Time in Holland. But, despite not being able to visit these places we can still enjoy this spring season. I revamped this bucket list to include items you can do at home with your family. Let’s not overlook the beauty that surrounds us, and the opportunity to try new things right now.
Make a New Recipe
This is the perfect time to try a new recipe you’ve been wanting to make. Or if you need some ideas for a recipe try these morning glory muffins, shrimp linguine or my favorite cacio e pepe.
Read a Book
With all this extra free time at home why not try reading a new book? It’s easy to have the TV on all day or your phone constantly in your hands. Put the phone down and turn off the TV for a few hours and read a book. If you need some suggestions check out these books.
Watch a Classic Movie
Cory and I have loved watching classic movies at night. We’ve watched While You Were Sleeping, Three Men and a Baby, The Princess Bride, The Mighty Ducks, Father of the Bride, Casablanca, Clueless, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and Back to the Future. If you want some ideas for classic movies here’s a helpful list.
Get Take-Out
Support your favorite local restaurant and order take-out. Experience Grand Rapids has a great list of restaurants that are offering take-out and delivery options.
Try a Spring Cocktail
Cheers to spring with a spring cocktail! When the weather gets warmer Cory and I love an Aperol Spritz. You can find the recipe here.
