If you have a sweet tooth like I do you’re probably going to love this post. Today I’m sharing all the best spots to enjoy some delicious desserts right here in Grand Rapids. Everything from brownies, ice cream and cookies made the list so there’s a little something for everyone. Tell me in the comments below what your favorite desserts are in Grand Rapids!
Rose’s
When you mix a view of the lake and an amazing dessert life is really good friends. At Rose’s on Reeds Lake I love the marbled chocolate brownie with rich chocolate flavor mixed with walnuts and served with vanilla bean gelato. The caramel and chocolate sauce drizzled on top just makes this a sweet ending to a great meal.
Haute at New Hotel Mertens
What could be better than dessert on a rooftop? If you haven’t been to Haute at New Hotel Mertens this summer now is the time to go! This rooftop overlooking the city is a great spot to enjoy my favorite profiteroles paired with house made gelato and served with hot chocolate sauce. Yes please!
The Cakabakery
I’m slightly obsessed with the chocolate chunk cookies from The Cakabakery so these are a must on my list of favorite desserts in Grand Rapids. I don’t know how they get the outside so crisp and the inside so gooey, but trust me these cookies are truly the best.
Jersey Junction
During these warm humid summer days an ice cream from Jersey Junction is the best dessert to cool off with. I always order Coffee Lovers Dream because I love anything coffee flavored, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. Grab some ice cream in a cone or a cup and take a walk around East Grand Rapids or Reed’s Lake for a perfect summer night.
Le Bon Macaron
After traveling to Paris I absolutely love a good macaron and Le Bon Macaron is my go-to spot. The coffee macaron (I told you I love anything coffee flavored) or the classic chocolate flavor brings me right back to the streets of Paris. PS these also make great gifts for friends or a hostess at your next dinner party.
