The 411 in the 616: Summer is Ending Soon

The summer is officially winding down (which I hate to admit) with kids back in school. I feel like I say this every year, but the summer just flew by. Maybe it’s because of my wedding, but I feel like I could use a few more weeks of summer to just relax. Either way I hope you had a wonderful summer with friends and family enjoying our beautiful Michigan weather. Let’s not think about cold weather or snow anytime soon ok? Enjoy a community dog walk at Paddock Place on Wednesday, August 28.

Join Rise and Squibb for an end of summer bash on Friday, August 30.

How about some fireworks? Head to Cascade for for fireworks on Saturday, August 31.

Things I’m Loving Right Now

Have you been to Nelis’ Dutch Village in Holland? I visited last week with my nephews and had such a fun time feeding the goats, riding the carousel and trying cheese. If you need an outing with your kids I would totally recommend going here.

I made this blueberry banana bread last week and it was amazing.

If you’re vegetarian and haven’t been to Hancock for their faux chicken sandwich you’re missing out.
