The 411 in the 616: Summer Are You There?

I don’t know about you, but it’s been feeling like spring is holding on here in Grand Rapids. It’s the middle of June and I’m still reaching for a light jacket and umbrella almost every day. I’m staying positive that summer will officially be here soon (crossing my fingers). It’s been awhile since I’ve done a 411 in the 616 post after being on vacation and having a crazy week last week. We had such a wonderful time with my family in Glen Arbor and it was a great way to kick off summer. If you’re planning a visit up there check out the link above for some of my favorite things to do. I got this platter from Two Fish Gallery as a bridal shower gift and it’s such a fun reminder of some of my favorite places and great to use this summer.

After being in Italy earlier this spring my new summer drink is officially the Aperol Spritz.

My mom and I made a piñata cake for my sister’s birthday last weekend. I would totally recommend this for your next birthday.
