The 411 in the 616: Spring in Bloom

Happy Monday! I’m so happy to see the sun shining this morning in Grand Rapids. We had such a great weekend enjoying the weather with a drive to Grand Haven, many walks around our neighborhood (I spotted some tulips), and social distancing outside with my family. What I’m Excited About This Week

I’m starting to read Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah this week. Apparently this book is going to be a TV show on Netflix.

We can start working on our garden and outdoor projects this week! Garden centers are starting to open in Michigan so it seems like a good time to get started on some outdoor projects around the house.

I’m going to try some new recipes this week. This zucchini parmesan pasta and this cheesy couscous with roasted brussel sprouts sound amazing.

Things I’m Loving Right Now

I bought this pillow cover from H&M and it looks great in our banquette area. I also really like this tassel trim pillow from Pottery Barn for our chair outside.

The spring event at Sephora ends today! I stocked up on my favorite blush from Nars in Orgasm.

I might need this face mask from Apolis.

Local Links

I’m so sad to hear that Grove has closed today in Grand Rapids. The restaurant is now Jimmy Bergers Chicken Shack Pop-Up. I might need to try the biscuits, green bean casserole, waffle fries and coleslaw soon.
