Hi friends! I feel like these past couple of weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions. Cory and I keep telling each other that we need to take this one day at a time. It’s hard to know how long this will last, and it’s tough adjusting to a new routine at home. It’s been rough canceling birthday plans, concerts, and vacations because of all of this. But, I can also say I’ve noticed an enlightening shift in slowing down. I’m starting new projects, calling old friends, playing games, organizing my home and taking deep breaths. It’s all going to be ok. Savor this time with your kids, family or significant other.
What I’m Excited About This Week
Cory and I are doing a “Cocktails with Cory” live on Instagram. Please join us and hang out while learning to make an old fashioned. Come with questions for us or just say hi.
Please help in supporting our local businesses as much as you can. Experience Grand Rapids has a site for restaurants that are offering take-out options. If you head to my Spring Issue you can find other ways to support local businesses.
I’m working on something we can all do together each day. I’ll share a challenge a day to keep us motivated and to try something new. I hope you’ll join me!
Things I’m Loving Right Now
If you need a good laugh this is my favorite segment on Jimmy Fallon with Kevin Hart. I laugh sooo hard every time I watch this.
Also, Heather McMahan is hilarious on Instagram.
I’m all about yoga at home right now. What are you doing for exercise at home?

I love Make with Leland Gal! If you’re looking for some fun projects to do with your kids check this out.
If you follow me on Instagram you saw Cory and I tried PRIMEatHOME from Bowdie’s Chophouse in East Grand Rapids. This is a great way to get takeout food, but make it at your own home. Thanks Bowdie’s!
I just saw Lee & Birch is doing 30% off online right now. I’m currently adding things to my cart.
In Case You Missed It
The Spring Issue is here! I worked so hard on this project, and love how it all came together. Check it out for some info on how to help small businesses right now, spring cleaning tips and more!
