The 411 in the 616: For the Love of Summer

Hi friends! I’ve been a little MIA on the blog this summer. With summer travel and a fractured foot I’ve been struggling to keep up with the blog. But, I wanted to do a new 411 in the 616 and talk about a few updates going on around here. I’m finally able to walk around without crutches which is a huge blessing. I’ve still got at least four more weeks with a walking cast, but I’m making progress. A huge thank you to all of you for your kind messages and comments wishing me a speedy recovery. Cory and I are celebrating our second anniversary in California next week. I can’t believe it’s already been two years! Even with a walking cast I’m looking forward to a true vacation together to celebrate our anniversary. Scroll down for this week’s 411 in the 616!

Things I’m Loving Right Now

Since I can’t take a shower with my fractured foot, washing my hair has been really difficult. So I’ve been getting a blowout at E+L Salon and it’s truly the best. It feels so nice to have someone wash and style your hair!

I’ve been really into reading “Great Circle” by Maggie Shipstead right now. It took me a little bit to get into this book, but now I’m dying to see how it ends.

I just picked up this NARS concealer and love it!
