Did you make a resolution or goal this year that involves fitness? I know I did! I’m trying to workout on a consistent basis at MVP Athletic Clubs, because more often than not work/life gets in the way. I know I’m not the only one struggling with this right? I always give myself a break for lunch, so I’m using this time as a opportunity to do a quick workout at MVP Sportsplex. I figure doing a quick workout is better than not doing a workout at all. If you’re struggling to find time to make it to the gym, here are a few ideas for a short workout that I’ve been loving. These workouts are great for your lunch break or really any time you have the opportunity for a 20-30 minute workout.
Lifting Weights
Lifting weights is a great form or exercise that doesn’t require a ton of sweating or time. Perfect for a lunch break workout right? I took a weight training class in college and learned so much about how weight training helps in your fitness journey. Most of the weight training machines are super easy to use and a little goes a long way.
Walk on the Treadmill
Getting out my work chair and walking on the treadmill is something I really enjoy. It feels so good to get myself moving in the middle of the day! A brisk walk on the treadmill with a slight incline is a great way to spend your lunch break.
Elliptical
Spend 20 minutes on the elliptical listening to some of your favorite music during your lunch break. This workout is perfect to get me motivated throughout the rest of my day, and gets my heart rate up.
Try a 30 Minute Class
Did you know MVP Athletic Clubs offer 30 minute classes? Cory and I love the R30 class or Group Core class that we can quickly do on our lunch break or after work. These classes give us a great workout in a short period of time. It’s also a great opportunity to try something new if you haven’t done a class before.
