If you’re dreaming of spring right now, you’re not alone. This winter has been really brutal to say the least. But, the first day of spring is right around the corner! So let’s spring forward and start a bucket list of items to cure our cabin fever from this winter. Here are some of my top picks to make the most out of spring in Grand Rapids. See the Butterflies at Meijer Gardens
When the butterflies are blooming at Meijer Gardens it’s a true sign of spring. Enjoy the 85 degree temperature indoors, the beautiful butterflies and explore the gardens on a nice spring day. You can see the butterflies at Meijer Gardens now until April 30.
Explore John Ball Zoo
When the warmer weather hits it’s time to spend some outdoors. You’re never too old to explore the zoo and John Ball Zoo has some awesome exhibits. The zoo opens for the season on March 9!
Enjoy an Elephant Ear at Tulip Time
The spring season just isn’t complete without a trip to Holland to experience Tulip Time happening May 4-12. Enjoying an Elephant Ear is a must for Cory and I every year.
Get Some Fashion Inspiration
Don’t miss the Boutiques of West Michigan fashion show on May 4 at DeVos Place! This is a great event to attend with your girlfriends and support some local boutiques here in Grand Rapids.

I don’t know about you but Beauty & the Beast was one of my favorite movies growing up. The Grand Rapids Ballet is doing Beauty & the Beast from March 15-17 and March 23-24. This is a great activity for the whole family to enjoy.

Spring is the perfect time to visit your local farmers market! Pick up some fresh flowers, seasonal fruits, and yummy vegetables at the farmers market. I really love heading to the Fulton Street Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.
