Fall in Love with Your Hair at Coiffeteria Salon

Ladies (and gentleman) I totally understand how difficult it can be to find a salon and stylist that you love. Well today is your lucky day because Coiffeteria Salon has been around for over 20 years (yes, you read that correctly) and the service and atmosphere of the salon is amazing. Located in East Grand Rapids, this Aveda salon genuinely creates a relaxing space with a pulse on the latest hair and beauty trends.

One of my favorite hair trends this season is balayage (which is French for to sweep or to paint). With balayage it’s all about softer regrowth lines and more of a freehand technique in placing the color. The best part about balayage is that it doesn’t require a lot of maintenance. Using Aveda color gives your hair a healthy dose of 99% naturally derived pure plant oils. Melissa chose a caramel color to highlight the blonde and darker brown colors I previously had. I’m so happy with the result! Using Brilliant Damage Control, Pure Abundance Style Prep, Shampure Dry Shampoo and Air Control Hair Spray Melissa styled a half top knot. This is now my new favorite hair style.

A day at the salon is even better when you can spend it with a friend and fellow blogger Jill from the good life for less.
