Dreaming of a Day at the Beach

Anyone else dreaming of a day at the beach? If you saw my post and stories on Instagram, I updated you on our decision to not travel to Florida. Cory was going to be in Florida for work this week, and I decided to join him for some warm weather. Our bags were packed, but I was getting anxious about being on the plane and being around other people. I desperately wanted to enjoy some sun and time at the pool, but I also knew I would feel anxious most of the time if I went. The reality is this season of life is hard for all of us in different ways. Am I right?

I’m taking things one day at a time, and I’ll be ok. The beach will still be there, and I’ll look forward to packing my suitcase again with some of these beach day essentials.

I’ve been using the OUAI wave spray for years now. It’s my go-to hair product during the warm months to create some texture and natural wave.

One of my favorite warm weather accessories is a silk scarf. I love this floral one from Ann Taylor.

To keep your drink cold you can’t go wrong with a Corkcicle canteen. We use ours all the time!
