The countdown to Italy is officially on! To say I’m excited is an understatement. I’m really looking forward to this trip with Witte Travel & Tours, and wanted to share the top three things I’m looking forward to on this trip. For one thing our itinerary for Tuscany and Cinque Terre is going to be amazing! Here’s what I’m most excited about.
Visiting New Places & Familiar Places
We’ll be visiting Tuscany and the Cinque Terre on this trip to Italy. This will be my third time visiting Tuscany, but as you probably know this is a large region of Italy. We’ll be spending a little time in Florence which I truly love, but also exploring new areas in Tuscany. I’m thrilled to visit some old favorites in Florence like All’Antico Vinaio for the best sandwich and a little hidden gem by the Duomo for a drink.
I’ve also never been to the Cinque Terre. Cory and I tried to schedule a visit on our honeymoon, but it didn’t work with our trip schedule. I’ve always wanted to see Portofino and enjoy a boat cruise. This part of our trip is going to be incredible!
Being in a Group
The last time I did a group trip was in college. I studied in Italy for a month with other students and truly had amazing time. The best part of traveling in this group was learning different perspectives from others. Cory and I love traveling together (obviously), but when you travel with other people you get the opportunity to try different things. Meeting new people and understanding what they enjoy while traveling is really unique and special. I’m honestly looking forward to being with friends, family and new friends on this trip.
Trying Different Activities
Witte Travel & Tours has been a great partner for this trip to Italy. They planned some amazing excursions and activities for us to do in Italy. I’m excited for the boat excursion in Cinque Terre, a pesto cooking class, visiting a vineyard in Tuscany, a day in Florence and so much more. These activities are going to be really memorable, and I can’t wait to try some new things while we’re there.
Ditto on the excitement. I’m currently deactivated from Instagram, but looking forward to meeting you on the trip. YAY. It will my first time to Italy, and my husband’s first time in Europe.
