I frequently get asked my top picks for brunch so this post was a no brainer. On Saturday or Sunday morning you’ll see me at one of these 5 brunch spots in Grand Rapids. See you there!
1. Little Lucy’s
I recently visited Little Lucy’s and now I’m a little obsessed. Located in the Creston neighborhood this cafe and bakery is a must for your next brunch with family or friends. With homemade pastries (hello blueberry lemon scone) and a delicious breakfast menu this is my new favorite spot. From crepes to omelets to french toast head to Little Lucy’s for a yummy start to your day.
2. Terra GR
Ok guys you know I love Terra but I seriously love their brunch. What I really appreciate about Terra is they offer menu items based on seasonal ingredients so everything is fresh and locally sourced. A mimosa and veggie omelette is my go-to, but you can’t leave without ordering the sticky bun. I could go on and on and on about the sticky bun so don’t miss out on this yummy dish.
3. Cherie Inn
You just can’t go wrong with brunch at Cherie Inn. This restaurant has serving food in Grand Rapids since 1924 in Eastown and seriously the brunch is always amazing. I’m a huge fan of the European Breakfast, but don’t miss out on the pancakes, omelettes and scrambles.
4. That Early Bird
Any place that has amazing coffee and brunch is a winner in my book. Located in Eastown you’ll find That Early Bird to be that place you’ll keep coming back to. The coffee and pastries are incredible, but they also offer dishes like biscuits and gravy, breakfast nachos (yes, you read that correctly) and eggs benedict.
5. Grand Rapids Brewing Company
If bloody marys as a brunch staple (because who doesn’t) head on over to Grand Rapids Brewing Company. This bloody mary bar is something to write home about with a sausage, olives, hot sauces and more to truly make your drink complete. If the bloody mary bar isn’t your thing the food is also spectacular with options like stuffed french toast, shrimp & grits, and Irish nachos.
