Wedding season is right around the corner! If you’re getting married this summer (like myself) you might be thinking about how to achieve your fitness goals before the big day. Cory and I are both encouraging each other to try different classes or workouts at MVP Sports Clubs before our wedding to stay in shape. This winter has been rough to say the least. With the brutal cold weather and endless amounts of snow so we’ve been lacking on our typical workout routine. So we’re determined to try and reach some of our fitness goals before summer rolls around. Here are some of my tips to help achieve your fitness goals.
5 Tips for Achieving Your Fitness Goals
- Set Goals That Are Achievable – Both Cory and I have a lot on our plate right now, so we’re setting realistic goals that are easy to achieve without making us go crazy. Going to the gym twice a week is a much better goal than trying to go 4-5 days right now. And, if you’re short on time here’s a great 20 minute workout from MVP’s blog Fit & Fresh.
- Encourage Each Other – From past experiences, I know that achieving my fitness goals works 100% best with someone cheering me on. Get your fiancé involved with your fitness goals or your bridal party to really help you along the way.
- Start Early and Start Small – Rome wasn’t built in a day right? The earlier you start making your fitness goals the better. So start early and start small before your big day.
- Work with a Trainer – Did you know MVP Sports Clubs offers experienced trainers to help you achieve your fitness goals? This is a great way to tailor your workout to what your’e trying to accomplish.
- Have Fun – This is an exciting time leading up to your wedding so don’t forget to have some fun! Yoga is my absolute favorite workout so I make sure to fit this into my fitness routine to keep me excited about going to the gym.
