The winter season is in full swing here in Michigan. With the fresh snow this morning, I thought I would share some of my favorite winter essentials. These are some items I can’t live without during the cold and snowy months. PS don’t forget about my fun winter bucket list! What are your favorite winter weather essentials?
Winter Weather Essentials
I recently purchased this NOIZE parka from Nordstrom Rack. This parka is perfect for the colder, snowy days here in Michigan. When I’m outside playing with my nephews or taking Wrigley for a walk, this coat is an essential.
When the weather is a little more mild or I’m running errands this Patagonia jacket is my go-to. This jacket is light-weight, but still keeps me warm while I’m on the run.
I’m pretty much obsessed with waffle knit items these days. I have a pair of Gap waffle knit pajama pants that are similar to these joggers. The material is so cozy for relaxing at home.
My hands have been super dry and cracked because of the winter weather, so I’ve been using the Aquaphor healing ointment. This stuff works wonders on my hands to keep them moisturized.
I’ve been using this Fresh Sugar Lip Balm for years and it’s my favorite to use during the winter or summer. With SPF this lip balm keeps my lips protected and adds lots of moisture.
A cozy blanket is a must-have during the winter. My favorite blanket is no longer available, but this one from Target looks perfect.
Say what you will about UGG boots, but I can’t live without these tall boots when it’s cold outside. These boots are great for running errands or walking the dog.
If you haven’t tried Bombas socks you’re missing out. These wool socks keep my feet so warm, and they are very comfortable while wearing boots.
For those super snowy days or when I’m outside for long periods of time these Sorel boots are a must. I’ve had mine for a few years and they still look amazing.
I have this J.Crew hat in a coral red color, but this black color is classic. I love the pom-pom on top.
While you’re working from home or relaxing on the weekend, these UGG slippers are the best. They keep my feet really warm, and have lasted a few years.
I love these J.Crew glittens that are part gloves and mittens. The top easily folds down so you can use your phone or give your dog a treat on a walk.
